Alif, 19, from here, performed Hanya di Radio by Headwind, failed to impress viewers although judges Adlin Aman Ramlie, Aznil Nawawi and Aishah were happy with his performance.
The elimination, which was announced on the live results show Debaran AF8 at 9pm yesterday, brings the number of contestants down to eight.
Unlike previous years, contestants know of their elimination a day after the weekly Konsert AF8 broadcast live over Astro Ria at 9pm on Saturday from Dewan Sri Putra, Stadium Putra in Bukit Jalil here.
